It's been wayyyyyy too long...

Hey my friend,

I trust that you and the family are doing well. This may not come as a surprise to you but I'm on the move again!

Earlier this summer, I made the decision to step-down as a partner with Nexsen Pruet.

Instead, I'm taking on the role of "Of Counsel," which is a fancy way of saying - I'm now an independent contractor w/ partner level status without partner level responsibilities. Good win-win for me, as I pursue other business ventures.

So, for those that know I've made this transition, the question I get frequently is - are you still practicing law? And, the answer is - YES!

Moreso, part-time and on selective matters but if I can't handle it [due to everything that I have going on - more on that below], I have a team of lawyers at Nexsen Pruet that can take care of it for me [best part - I still get credit for originating the work] so, if you need me - I'm here for you! I enjoy practicing law but after practicing for over 7 years now, I've come to terms with the fact that - entrepreneurship is my jam!

So, what are these business ventures that led you to take such a dramatic step?

Welp, it's a few things:

1. I quietly launched my personal brand - www.bobbyrobinson.co [not so quiet now lol]. I will help coach, consult and advise entrepreneurs on how to start, scale and grow their business. I will also do more speaking engagements on entrepreneurship and technology, as well as offer digital products such as ebooks, courses and masterclasses. There may be a published hard copy book in the works, as well. :-)

2. I also launched an NFT startup called Reptura - www.reptura.io. I'm super passionate about technology. As some of you know, in 2018, I started a legal technology company, IntellyDoc, and sold a majority interest to a local Charlotte VC firm in December 2020 so once you get bitten by the tech bug, it's hard to go back! So, I'm super excited about Reptura and our contribution to the Web3 community. 3. Rolling out a FREE weekly masterclass series titled: How to Bulletproof Your Brand w/o the Costly Mistakes on the Backend that will kick-off next week. I'll be sure to share it with you in case you know of an entrepreneur that would be interested in attending.

Shew, I know - I'm busier than everbefore! But, this is my happy place - creating and building impactful brands and helping others do the same! As I work through these various projects, I will be bringing back my monthly newsletter to share entrepreneurship tips that I've gleaned from my ever evolving journey, as well as any business or legal trends that I'm noticing so this won't be the last that you hear from me.
